Chummy and Alan completed their 2400km journey on the 1st of July 2009.

Shorelines TV Series
Chummy and Alan were interviewed by the presenters of the Shorelines TV series back at the beginning of their hike. The episode they are was shown on Monday the 13th July at 19:30 on SABC2. They also appear in the gallery on Shoreline’s website.
Where did they hike?
They started at Cape Point and hiked along the coast to Kosi Bay. They aimed to keep on the beach for as far as possible and were fortunate enough to secure permission for all of the trails, nature reserves and protected areas along the way.
